An exceptional Boston dining table. Ca.1835.The deep fluted pillar has concave channels filled with turned fillets. The scrolled feet are set with large rosettes. The outline of the entire piece is enhanced with a beaded molding. The table is oval when closed. When open it divides to receive 8 leaves extending to 15 feet. Executed in the finest Santo Domingo Mahogany accentuated with matching flame veneers. It is in fantastic restored condition, retaining a professional, highly-polished and waxed surface.
