Stylistically, this elegant card table combines
Classical, Gothic, and Rococo elements. Fluted legs and
fluted stretcher support two closed top boards which rotate
and open to form a table-top surface. This stylish table
was possibly manufactured in New York City by
Alexander Roux or J&J Meeks. Pie crust moldings
similar to those that edge this table are found
on the furniture manufactured by the
firm of J&J Meeks.
