This Stanton Hall Rosewood Parlor Set was made by the Meeks firm in 1859 as a gift to Sophia Teresa, Joseph W. Meeks daughter, on the occasion of her marriage to Dexter Hawkins. Consisting of a sofa, an armchair and two side chairs, the set has descended through the Meeks family.
